CancerNext-Expanded is a next generation sequencing panel that simultaneously analyzes 77 genes associated with increased risks for brain, breast, colon, ovarian, pancreatic, prostate, renal, uterine, and many other cancers. Testing should be considered when there are multiple primary tumors in one person that are suspicious for a combination of hereditary breast, ovarian, colorectal, uterine cancers and/or melanoma in addition to hereditary brain tumors, kidney cancer, and/or PGL/PCC.
Cancer:
Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Renal Cell Carcinoma, Uterine Cancer
Gene:
ALK (Anaplastic lymphoma kinase), APC (APC Regulator Of WNT Signaling Pathway), ATM (ATM serine/threonine kinase), BAP1 (BRCA1 Associated Protein 1), BARD1 (BRCA1 Associated RING Domain 1), BLM (BLM RecQ Like Helicase)
