    Our observations suggestthat citrullinated vimentin acts as a specificindicatorfor the reactive state of astrocytes underabnormal neurological conditions. In addition, thesenovel antibodieswill be helpful for studying the role of citrullinated vimentin in the pathogenesis of human disorders.
