Population Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacogenomics, and Adverse Events of Osimertinib and its Two Active Metabolites, AZ5104 and AZ7550, in Japanese Patients with Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer: a Prospective Observational Study. (PubMed, Invest New Drugs)
Higher exposures to osimertinib, AZ5104, and AZ7550 and polymorphisms in EGFR, ABCG2, and ABCB1 were related to higher severity of AEs; therefore, monitoring these may be beneficial for osimertinib AE management.

Side effects of tyrosine kinase inhibitors therapy in patients with non-small cell lung cancer and associations with EGFR polymorphisms: A systematic review and meta-analysis. (PubMed, Oncol Lett)
The long CA repeat (SL+LL) carriers were more likely to experience skin toxicity associated with TKIs (P=0.005). By contrast, there was no significant result for diarrhea (P=0.661) under dominant genetic model for CA repeats.
