Protean BioDiagnostics has developed OncoSignal™ as an innovative and unique test to expand the information that can be obtained from cancer tissue analysis. The Oncosignal Test is an optional component of Protean’s innovative comprehensive Oncology MAPS™ precision oncology system. The OncoSignal test uses an advanced molecular and bioinformatics system to measure mRNA expression patterns and calculate the specific activity of seven key oncogenic driver signal pathways. The pathways include ER (estrogen receptor), AR (androgen receptor), PI3K (Phosphoinositide 3-Kinase), HH (Hedgehog pathway), NOTCH (notch signal pathways), TGFbeta (transforming growth factor receptor beta), and MAPK (mitogen activated protean kinase).
