    Internal Overview of Prostatic Cancer Cases and Quality of BRCA1 and BRCA2 NGS Data from the FFPE Tissue. (PubMed, Diagnostics (Basel))
    The results from our internal overview seem to support the data and to confirm the performance of the technical issues reported in the literature. Considering the advanced age of our patients, with 84% of men over the age of 65, the application of alternative and less invasive procedures such as liquid biopsy, could be a more suitable solution for some cases.

    MSI analysis in patients with GIST with Lynch syndrome. (ASCO 2023)
    For the first time we observed in Lynch Syndrome MSH2 mutated, simolutaneous GIST and colon cancer in the same site of ileum and PCR analisys detected a rare exemple of microsatellite instability in GIST.

    "Otherwise, HRM approaches and microcapillary electrophoresis platform failed to detect MSI-ECs showing minimal microsatellite shifts. In conclusion, whereas in colorectal site several technologies are eligible for MSI test, in ECs MSI test should be based on fluorescent capillary electrophoresis as it identifies a higher proportion of cases that could be misdiagnosed with other strategies."
