Both SVZ invasion and MGMT unmethylation negatively influenced the prognosis of patients with IDH wild-type GBM. The clinical model developed in this study accurately predicts the survival outcome, providing a basis and reference for clinical practice.
Collectively, these results showed that the MGMT unmethylation and high levels of CD47 and TIGIT are associated with a poor prognosis in ADG. Patients with high CD47 and TIGIT expression may benefit from anti-CD47 and TIGIT immunotherapy.
The sensitivities and specificities of the imaging feature, the presence of "Thickened structure," and the absence of "Methylated contrast phenotype" for predicting pMGMT unmethylation were 0.29 and 0.86 for the exploratory and 0.25 and 0.96 for the validation cohort. Our study concludes that there is an association between MGMT unmethylation and worse TR and DSS. The 9% cut-off demonstrated a greater potential for patient survival as a function of time, which may shed light on the future need for standardization of MGMT methylation positivity parameters in PSQ.
