    Tolerability and Efficacy of Crenolanib and Cytarabine/Anthracycline Chemotherapy in Older Patients (Aged 61 to 75) with Newly Diagnosed FLT3-Mutated Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)

    Excerpt:
    This safety study shows that crenolanib can be combined at full doses (100mg TID) for the duration of 7+3 induction, consolidation, and maintenance in older patients with FLT3 mutant AML. Therapy was relatively well tolerated, with less than one third of patients requiring dose reductions. Long-term survival rates are encouraging in this high-risk population, but additional studies are needed to confirm the efficacy of this combination older adults.
