ZCCHC4 regulates esophageal cancer progression and cisplatin resistance through ROS/c-myc axis. (PubMed, Sci Rep)
In summary, downregulation of ZCCHC4 leads to increased sensitivity of ESCC cells to cisplatin, inhibits proliferation, and promotes apoptosis in esophageal cancer cells, potentially via the ROS/c-myc axis. The study suggests a potential adjunctive role for ZCCHC4 in the diagnosis and treatment of esophageal cancer and aids in further understanding the underlying mechanisms in ESCA progression.

N6-methyladenosine in 28S rRNA promotes oncogenic mRNA translation and tyrosine catabolism. (PubMed, Cell Rep)
Further analysis reveals that HPD mediates ZCCHC4's functions on tyrosine catabolism and ICC progression, and targeting HPD inhibits ICC progression in vivo. Overall, our findings uncover insights underlying mRNA translation control and provide a molecular basis for targeting the ZCCHC4-HPD axis in ICC.

The epigenetic downregulation of LncGHRLOS mediated by RNA m6A methylase ZCCHC4 promotes colorectal cancer tumorigenesis. (PubMed, J Exp Clin Cancer Res)
This study suggests that the ZCCHC4 axis contributes to the tumorigenesis and progression of CRC and that ZCCHC4 may be a potential biomarker for this malignancy.

Exploring the prognostic potential of m6A methylation regulators in low-grade glioma: implications for tumor microenvironment modulation. (PubMed, Eur J Med Res)
Our results present that the m6A regulators play vital role in regulating PD-L1/PD-1 expression and the infiltration of immune cells, thereby exerting a sizable impact on the TIME of LGG. Therefore, m6A regulators have precise predictive value in the prognosis of LGG.

The predictive significance of a 5-m6A RNA methylation regulator signature in colorectal cancer. (PubMed, Heliyon)
The conducted studies included the use of several statistical methods, such as the LASSO regression model, KM survival evaluation, ROC curve, and univariate and multivariate Cox's proportional hazard regression analyses. The findings from these analyses collectively established the prognostic marker, highlighting its significance in predicting patient outcomes and diagnosing colorectal cancer.
