Region and Cell-Selective Induction of Zbtb16/Plzf by Multiple Stressors in the Adult Murine Hypothalamus. (PubMed, Eur J Neurosci)
Zbtb16 mRNA expression was increased by two-fold in male and female mice within 2 h of restraint stress or injection of a synthetic glucocorticoid, dexamethasone (DEX)...Expanded analyses indicated that the cell specificity of Zbtb16 expression was region-specific, colocalizing with CRH neurons in the mid-PVN but more in astrocytes surrounding the PVN. These findings identify Zbtb16 as a glucocorticoid- and cytokine-inducible transcriptional regulator with region- and cell type-specific roles in PVN stress circuitry.

Single-cell sequencing reveals reversible glial remodeling in the visual cortex during visual deprivation and recovery. (PubMed, Front Immunol)
This study demonstrates that non-neuronal cells in the visual cortex, which include microglia and oligodendrocytes, undergo extensive yet reversible reprogramming in response to changes in visual input. These findings highlight a dynamic microglia-oligodendrocyte axis as a critical cellular mechanism underlying cortical plasticity in myopia, suggesting potential molecular targets for visual rehabilitation strategies.

A Case of Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia with t(11;17)(q23.2;q21.2) Treated with Haploidentical Transplantation Using Post-Transplant Cyclophosphamide. (PubMed, Intern Med)
He underwent haploidentical transplantation using post-transplant cyclophosphamide (PTCy) after conventional chemotherapy and maintained long-term remission. This case highlights the importance of a morphological diagnosis and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) in APL with t(11;17)(q23.2;q21.2).

Intracellular bacteria modulate the immune microenvironment of oral squamous cell carcinoma. (PubMed, Cell Rep)
However, intracellular bacteria weaken the communication between cDC1 and these immune cells, potentially reducing therapeutic efficacy. Our study provides a foundation for further investigation into the mechanisms by which intracellular bacteria mediate effective responses to NICB in OSCC.

Transcriptomic and multi-layer variant analysis identifies STAT3 and HIF1A as central regulators of regulated cell death pathways in lung squamous cell carcinoma. (PubMed, Naunyn Schmiedebergs Arch Pharmacol)
Current multi-omics analysis delineates STAT3 and HIF1A as central regulators coordinating apoptotic and necroptotic cross talk in LUSC. Deleterious nsSNPs within these TFs highlight structural vulnerabilities potentially driving tumor progression and therapeutic resistance, offering promising targets for precision-based intervention.

Subtype-Specific m6A circRNA Methylation Patterns Identify Epigenetic Biomarker Candidates of Potential Diagnostic and Prognostic Significance in Breast Cancer. (PubMed, Int J Mol Sci)
These findings uncover subtype-specific m6A circRNA methylation landscapes that may contribute to tumor aggressiveness and heterogeneity. Identified circRNAs represent candidates for investigation as biomarkers for subtype classification and prognosis and may inform future research into epigenetic and post-transcriptional therapeutic targets in breast cancer.

Atrazine Induces Reproductive Toxicity in an In Vitro Spermatogenesis (IVS) Model. (PubMed, Biomedicines)
ATZ exerts dose- and genotype-dependent effects on IVS through coordinated regulation of oxidative stress and apoptosis. These findings highlight the interplay between Nrf2-mediated antioxidant defenses, apoptotic signaling, and genetic background in shaping spermatogenic outcomes, providing mechanistic insight into ATZ-induced reproductive toxicity in a human-relevant in vitro spermatogenesis model.

Transcriptome biomarkers of colon cancer liver metastasis response to neoadjuvant triplet chemotherapy: a case series. (PubMed, J Circ Biomark)
The triplet FOLFOXIRI (fluorouracil, leucovorin, oxaliplatin, and irinotecan) may be considered an effective option in the neoadjuvant setting for metastatic colon cancer (mCRC). Data obtained indicate transcriptional discordance between the primary tumors and liver metastases during neoadjuvant FOLFOXIRI, with the pattern of DEGs involved in their response being distinct. The EPS8L2 transcript could be regarded as a candidate biomarker of liver complete response; however, prognostic conclusions cannot be drawn from this cohort.

IL-17-producing γδ T cells in the tumor microenvironment promote radioresistance in mice. (PubMed, J Clin Invest)
Mechanistically, radiotherapy-induced tumor cell-derived microparticles containing dsDNA activated the cGAS-STING/NF-κB signaling pathway in macrophages, upregulating the expression of the chemokine CCL20, which was critical for γδ T cell recruitment. Targeting γδ T cells and IL-17A enhanced radiosensitivity and improved the efficacy of radiotherapy combined with anti-PD-1 immunotherapy, providing potential therapeutic strategies to overcome radioresistance.

Invariant TCR-triggered protein kinase D activation mediates NKT cell development. (PubMed, J Exp Med)
Mutant mice lacking the Ikaros-binding site (Zbtb16∆IBS) generated fewer iNKT cells than WT mice. These results suggest that PKD links iTCRs to PLZF induction through Ikaros, thereby mediating iNKT cell development.
