Establishment of insulin resistance-related ten-gene signature in endometrial cancer and identification of ACTL8 as a prognostic and immunological biomarker. (PubMed, Clin Transl Oncol)
Our findings suggest that there are common molecular profiles between IR and EC. IR-related prognostic model represents an excellent prognosis predictor and immune-related biomarker, which can be applied to risk stratification and precise treatment of EC patients with IR.

Transcriptional Heterogeneity Reveals a Synaptic Gene Program in Developing and Adult Human Oligodendrocyte Precursor Cells. (PubMed, bioRxiv)
Together, these results identify a synaptically specialized OPC population in both developing and adult human cortex and reveal that eSyn-OPCs possess unexpectedly rich synaptic signaling machinery. These findings suggest that human OPCs may participate directly in neuron-glia communication during early cortical development and raise the possibility of developmental stage-specific roles for eSyn-OPCs in shaping neural circuit formation.

The GPR124‑Wnt‑PPARγ regulatory axis: Molecular mechanisms and therapeutic implications in chronic inflammatory diseases (Review). (PubMed, Int J Mol Med)
Understanding the GPR124‑Wnt‑PPARγ axis provides novel therapeutic opportunities for combination targeting strategies in chronic inflammatory conditions, where the balance between pro‑angiogenic Wnt activation and anti‑inflammatory PPARγ signaling determines disease outcomes. The present review examines the molecular architecture of GPR124‑PPARγ crosstalk, analyzes pathophysiological implications across multiple organ systems, and evaluates emerging therapeutic strategies for targeting this regulatory network in chronic inflammatory diseases.

Cellular reprogramming of H3K27M pediatric high-grade glioma to neuron-like state. (PubMed, Acta Neuropathol Commun)
These findings advance the concept of 'differentiation therapy' as a promising intervention to reduce phenotypic plasticity and malignancy in pHGG ecosystems. While these are early in vitro findings, the potential ability to steer and control glioma cells toward stable, less malignant fates offers promising translational potential for patient-centered targeted therapies.

Evaluating the Prognostic Value of Wnt Signaling Pathways in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Patients. (PubMed, Adv Med Sci)
These findings suggest that alterations in the expression of non-canonical Wnt/β-catenin pathway ligands are integral to lung carcinogenesis and may play a critical role in the development of NSCLC. The observed changes in WNT-7A expression between IA and IIA stages of NSCLC further indicate its potential involvement in tumor progression.

Letter to the editor: Development of a novel prognostic signature derived from super-enhancer-associated gene by machine learning in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. (PubMed, Oral Oncol)
This research not only advances biomarker discovery but also paves the way for new therapeutic strategies targeting super-enhancers. Future studies involving single-cell epigenomics, multi-omics data integration, and validation in prospective clinical trials are recommended to bolster the prognostic value and therapeutic use of SEAGS in precision oncology.

Eleganolone, a diterpene isolated from seaweed Bifurcaria bifurcata (Phaeophyceae, Fucales), protects neuronal cells from oxidative stress-induced damage. (PubMed, Eur J Pharmacol)
Additionally, our data showed that eleganolone downregulated the expression of genes associated with apoptosis (BAX, BNIP3, p53, p38, APAF1), inflammation (NFKB1, TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β), oxidative stress (HO-1) and neuronal development (CAMK2A, WNT5A, WNT7A) pathways in SH-SY5Y cells exposed to oxidative stressor tert-BOOH. These findings suggest that eleganolone offers neuroprotective potential in ameliorating diverse pathological aspects associated with oxidative stress.

Effect of electroacupuncture on the permeability of blood-brain-barrier mediated by Wnt7a/β-catenin/GSK-3β pathway in mice with Parkinson's disease (PubMed, Zhen Ci Yan Jiu)
EA can effectively improve the motor dysfunction of PD mice, reduce the damage of dopaminergic neurons, and play a neuroprotective role. These effects may be associated with the up-regulation of tight junction proteins ZO-1, Occludin and Claudin-5, the regulation of key proteins in the Wnt7a / β-catenin / GSK-3β pathway, and the improvement of BBB permeability.

Overexpressed Wnt-7a acts as a potential antitumor immune modulator and predicts poor prognosis in HNSCC. (PubMed, Heliyon)
In addition, our study suggested that Wnt-7a, as a canonical Wnt ligand, could exert its function via regulating Wnt signaling and related mechanisms. Taken together, these results strongly support that Wnt-7a is a strong predictor of prognosis and ICI efficacy, and could be a promising potential target for enhancing the therapy response.

EIF4E-mediated biogenesis of circPHF14 promotes the growth and metastasis of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma via Wnt/β-catenin pathway. (PubMed, Mol Cancer)
EIF4E-mediated biogenesis of circPHF14 stabilizes WNT7A mRNA via interaction with PABPC1, which subsequently activates the Wnt/β-catenin pathway, promoting the growth and metastasis of PDAC. These findings indicate that circPHF14 holds promise as a biomarker and therapeutic target for PDAC.
