    Genetic Susceptibility to Glomerulonephritis in Children: Analysis of Structural Kidney Genes and Immune System Genes. (PubMed, J Clin Med)
    An association between the TNF gene and different types of GN was noticed in children with GN. This may help us to understand the pathogenesis of these disorders and develop new treatments to cover the unmet needs of children with GN.

    siRNA as potential therapeutic strategy for hypertension. (PubMed, Eur J Pharmacol)
    Genetic correlations between uromodulin (UMOD) and hypertension are investigated as emerging Non AGT siRNA target. Furthermore, expression of UMOD is responsible for regulation of sodium by modulating the tumor necrosis factor-α and regulating the Na + -K + -2Cl-cotransporter (NKCC2) in the thick ascending limb, which makes it an important target for blood pressure regulation.
