Bone Organ-on-a-Chip Uncovers That TPD52L1 Enhances Osteogenic Differentiation of MSCs and Contributes to Osteoporosis Repair. (PubMed, FASEB J)
Subcutaneous transplantation experiments confirmed that it did not induce tumor formation or significant pathological changes, demonstrating favorable biosafety. TPD52L1 serves as a key target for promoting the osteogenic differentiation of MSCs.

Integrative phosphoproteomic network analysis identifies CAMK2D as a shared regulator of TPD52 family proteins in cancer. (PubMed, Protoplasma)
Notably, hypophosphorylation at TPD52_S171/S176 was observed in hepatocellular and lung carcinomas, whereas hyperphosphorylation at TPD52L2_S166 prevailed in ovarian and pancreatic cancers, underscoring biomarker utility. Phosphorylation-driven interactomes emphasized roles in vesicular trafficking and oncogenesis This study catalogues the phosphorylation events and explores the potential of TPD52 family as a phosphoregulated hub in cancer biology, with CAMK2D as a potential therapeutic target.

Investigation of risk signatures associated with anoikis in thyroid cancer through integrated transcriptome and Mendelian randomization analysis. (PubMed, Front Endocrinol (Lausanne))
Furthermore, real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) confirmed the upregulated expression patterns of these prognostic genes in THCA tissues. In conclusion, we constructed the risk signature related to anoikis for THCA, which might have important clinical significance for improving the quality of life and treatment effect of THCA patients.

Development and validation of a prognostic model for colon cancer based on mitotic gene signatures and immune microenvironment analysis. (PubMed, Discov Oncol)
The mitosis-related gene model serves as a valuable indicator for predicting survival outcomes in colon cancer patients.

SMARCB1-Retained and SMARCB1-Deficient SNUC are Genetically Distinct: A Pilot Study Using RNA Sequencing. (PubMed, J Neurol Surg B Skull Base)
Conclusion  RNA sequencing is a viable and informative approach for genomic profiling of archival SNUC samples. Both SR-SNUC and SD-SNUC were noted to have distinct genetic profiles underlying the molecular classification of these diseases.

Molecular Insights into the Breast and Prostate Cancer Cells in Response to the Change of Extracellular Zinc. (PubMed, J Oncol)
The dynamic protein landscapes in the cancer cells prodded by the extracellular zinc treatment reveal the potential roles of the identified zinc-responsive proteins (e.g., triosephosphate isomerase, S100A13, tumour proteins hD53 and hD54, and tumour suppressor prohibitin) in breast and prostate cancers. This study, for the first time, simultaneously investigated the two kinds of cancer cells related to zinc dyshomeostasis, and the findings shed light on the molecular understanding of the breast and prostate cancer cells in response to extracellular zinc variation.

Transcriptomic Analyses of the Adenoma-Carcinoma Sequence Identify Hallmarks Associated With the Onset of Colorectal Cancer. (PubMed, Front Oncol)
CRC formation was associated with three cancer hallmarks: dysregulation of metabolism, inactivation of the immune response, and activation of canonical cancer pathways. The TPD52L1 gene was identified as a potential marker to track tumor formation in CRC and as an indicator of poor patient prognosis.
