A genetic variant of BAFF is associated with the risk of lymphoma in Sjögren disease. (PubMed, Ann Rheum Dis)
We found an association between BAFF-var and sBAFF levels, occurrence of lymphoma as well as occurrence of SjD itself. This variant could be a new biomarker for lymphoma risk in SjD.

High-risk patients exhibited poor survival, enhanced immune infiltration, and potential sensitivity to AKT inhibitors, with several drugs, including gefitinib and paclitaxel, identified as promising candidates. Additional prognostic genes (DFFB, PSMB6, GLP1R, HDAC9, BACH2) displayed expression patterns largely consistent across HPA, TCGA, and RT-qPCR, with minor discrepancies likely due to sample size. This study integrates multi-omics and deep learning with experimental validation, providing insights into programmed cell death regulation and offering robust biomarkers and therapeutic targets for GC.

These findings reveal the STAT3-USP20-HMGCR axis as a central coordinator of PDAC malignancy and position USP20 inhibition as a strategy to suppress oncogenic signaling, perturb metabolic reprogramming, and reverse microenvironmental remodeling.

Notably, Palbociclib emerged as a potential therapeutic agent targeting the novel discovered biomarker CCL5...In conclusion, our findings highlight five hub genes as prognostic markers that could stratify GBM patients with different immune landscapes and levels of drug sensitivity. Furthermore, experimental results suggest that low CCL5 expression could alleviate T cell exhaustion and represent a promising therapeutic target, offering new strategies for improving GBM prognosis.

We also found that Actinomyces affects the occurrence and development of CRC in the male and female groups through different pathways. The results show that the intestinal flora differs between male and female CRC patients and is closely associated with cancer development.

Altogether, these findings implicate the NLRC5-BAFF signalling axis in Helicobacter-induced B cell MALT lymphoma, highlighting BAFF inhibition as a potential therapeutic approach.
