Analysis of replication intermediates, DNA and RNA 3' ends, and fork processivity genome wide indicates Dicer resolves head-on T-R collisions, consistent with an ancient origin in DNA replication.

Neutrophil extracellular trap-related signature predicts the prognosis and immunotherapy outcome of lung adenocarcinoma. (PubMed, Genomics)
Finally, we found that MEK inhibitors (selumetinib and trametinib) were more sensitive in the NET-high group and can inhibit the invasion and migration of LUAD cells. The NETs-related signature was able to predict the prognosis and immunotherapy outcome of LUAD patients.

Association between coronary thrombus composition and microvascular obstruction following percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with acute myocardial infarction: A proof-of-concept study. (PubMed, Medicine (Baltimore))
Quantitative analysis of coronary thrombus components revealed significant positive correlations between sCD40-L, hs-CRP, VCAM-1 levels and CMVO prevalence. Moreover, systemic metabolic disturbances - particularly type 2 diabetes mellitus, elevated serum LDL-C concentrations and heightened IL-6 levels were identified as independent predisposing factors for CMVO development.

These findings indicate that the potent anticancer effects of eugenol are primarily driven by its ability to reduce oxidative stress, suppress inflammation, and inhibit cell proliferation while promoting apoptosis. Furthermore, real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) confirmed the upregulated expression patterns of these prognostic genes in THCA tissues.
