    Increased Sirtuin 6 Activity in Tumor Cells Can Prompt CD4-Positive T-Cell Differentiation Into Regulatory T Cells and Impede Immune Surveillance in the Microenvironment. (PubMed, World J Oncol)
    The above results were verified in all six cell lines. The present study suggested that increased Sirt6 expression and activity in tumor cells can suppress immune surveillance by increasing Treg, ADO, PD-1 and PD-L1 levels, decreasing IFN-γ production, and altering tumor-promoting and antitumor gene expression in the microenvironment.

    WTAP-Mediated m6A Modification of circSMOC1 Accelerates the Tumorigenesis of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer by Regulating miR-612/CCL28 Axis. (PubMed, J Cell Mol Med)
    Knockdown of CCL28 inhibited cell proliferation and invasion and counteracted miR-612 inhibitor-caused tumour-promoting effects. Our findings unveil that WTAP-mediated m6A modification of circSMOC1 facilitates the tumorigenesis of NSCLC by regulating the miR-612/CCL28 axis.

    Spatial transcriptome analysis is one of the breakthroughs in the field of medical biotechnology as this can map the analytes such as RNA information in their physical location in tissue sections. Our findings illuminate previously unexplored spatial expression profiles of key biomarkers in diffuse high-grade glioma, offering novel insight for the development of therapeutic strategies in glioma.

    Downregulation of SMOC1 is associated with progression of colorectal traditional serrated adenomas. (PubMed, BMC Gastroenterol)
    Our results suggest that reduced expression of SMOC1 is associated with progression of TSAs and conventional adenomas and that SMOC1 expression may be a biomarker for diagnosis of serrated lesions and risk prediction in colorectal tumors.
