Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) patients often develop resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) like sorafenib (SR) and lenvatinib (RR). Knocking down MISP, CHMP2B, IL-18, TMSB4X, and EFEMP1 significantly reduced drug resistance, indicating their potential as therapeutic response biomarkers. This study characterizes protein and metabolic profiles of drug-resistant HCC cells, exploring metabolite-protein relationships to enhance understanding of drug resistance mechanisms and clinical treatment.
MOXD1 and PDZK1IP1 are key genes in ALD progression; fenofibrate improves liver damage in NIAAA model mice by downregulating their expression. Our findings provide insight for improving diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for ALD.

Although hyperthermic betadine lavage is a safe antiseptic solution with no toxicity when performed intraoperatively, it confers no effect on apoptotic rate or necrosis. It is therefore unlikely that hyperthermic betadine lavage will have an impact on reducing the microscopic residual disease after pleurectomy decortication and enhancing survival.
Microbially-derived DCA promotes colonic tumorigenesis in vivo in an experimental gnotobiotic model for CRC. Even in the absence of chemically-induced tumorigenesis, DCA promotes markers associated with CRC, suggesting a causal role of DCA in colonic tumorigenesis.
Finally, 84 sensitive drugs were screened for abnormal glycosylation of HCC, and carfilzomib was most highly correlated with CAD. Glycosylation-related molecular subtypes are associated with HCC stemness and disease prognosis. These results provide new directions for further research on the relationship between glycosylation and stemness phenotypes.
The three-gene prediction model was more reliable than the pathological staging characters of the tumor for the prognosis and survival of patients with HCC. In addition, the upregulated genes facilitating the transport of BAs are associated with poor prognosis of patients with HCC, and genes of de novo synthesis of BAs benefit patients with HCC.
