    SECTM1 promotes the development of glioblastoma and mesenchymal transition by regulating the TGFβ1/Smad signaling pathway. (PubMed, Int J Biol Sci)
    The low expression of SECTM1 has an inhibitory effect on GBM and is a potential target for GBM treatment. SECTM1 may also be a promising biomarker for the diagnosis and prognosis of GBM.

    Rare high-penetrance and common low-penetrance variants associated with risk of pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (AACR 2023)
    In summary, we found statistical evidence for several cancer predisposition genes harboring rare high-penetrance variants and a novel common low-penetrance variant associated with risk of pediatric ALL. Our novel findings add new knowledge to the full allelic spectrum of genetic architecture of pediatric ALL susceptibility.
