Analysis of Hepatitis B Virus Integration Reveals New Insights of Oncogenic Mechanism in Dysplastic Liver Nodule. (PubMed, J Med Virol)
Moreover, clinical indicators revealed significant prolongation of prothrombin time in two DN patients with HBV integrations in SCHIP1 and ZDHHC14. As a new insight regarding HBV integrations in DN stage, our findings suggest a possible role of HBV integration in the transformation of DN to early-stage liver cancer by affecting the expression of key genes.

TGM2, HMGA2, FXYD3, and LGALS4 genes as biomarkers in acquired oxaliplatin resistance of human colorectal cancer: A systems biology approach. (PubMed, PLoS One)
The results indicated the up-regulation of TGM2 and HMGA2 in HCT116/OX-R10 cells with high OX-RI and down-regulation of FXYD3, LGALS4, and ECI2 in both cell types. Based on the results, TGM2, HMGA2, FXYD3, and LGALS4 genes are related to oxaliplatin-resistant CRC and may serve as novel therapeutic targets.

A transient receptor potential channel-related model based on machine learning for evaluating tumor microenvironment and immunotherapeutic strategies in acute myeloid leukemia. (PubMed, Front Immunol)
Finally, it was found that SCHIP1 may be the oncogenic gene. The results of this study will help in understanding the role of TRP and SCHIP1 in the prognosis and development of AML.

The Potential of Extracellular Vesicle Derived microRNAs As a Biomarker in Acute Myeloid Leukemia (ASH 2022)
Conclusion Overall, the findings of this study revealed that EV-derived miRNAs may serve as biomarkers for risk stratification and prognosis in AML. However, further studies are required to validate these EV-derived miRNAs in other cohorts before their implementation in clinical practice.
