LINC00162 silencing enhances sorafenib sensitivity and inhibits thyroid cancer cells progression through modulation of MAPK signaling and apoptosis. (PubMed, Sci Rep)
Our findings indicated that LINC00162 silencing, in combination with sorafenib, reduced the expression of MAPK, KRAS, and RAF genes. From our findings, we can conclude that LINC00162 silencing, both individually and combined with sorafenib, reduced the progression and viability of thyroid cancer cells through modulating genes involved in key pathways and could be considered a new therapeutic approach for the treatment of papillary thyroid cancer (PTC).

A cuproptosis-related lncRNA signature for predicting prognosis and immune response in hepatocellular carcinoma. (PubMed, Heliyon)
Moreover, 29 drugs such as sorafenib, dasatinib and paclitaxel were screened for high-risk HCC patients to improve their prognosis. Our prognostic cuproptosis-related lncRNA signature was accurate and effective for predicting the prognosis of HCC. The immunotherapy was unsuitable for high-risk HCC patients with this signature.

Glucose metabolism and lncRNAs in breast cancer: Sworn friend. (PubMed, Cancer Med)
7 glucose metabolism-related lncRNAs risk score model had a high prognostic value in breast cancer. PICSAR, LINC00839, AP001505.1, LINC00393 were risk factors. AP001505.1 expression was increased in most triple-negative breast cancer cells treated with high glucose, which may also take part in breast cancer progression and potential therapeutic targets.

Moreover, the potential drugs that HCC might be sensitive to were screened by drug sensitivity profiling analysis. Taken together, our findings provided important information for the prediction of the prognosis of HCC patients and the development of personalized targeted therapy.
