A metabolic reprogramming-related gene signature correlates with prognosis and proliferation of BLCA. (PubMed, Discov Oncol)
After inhibited NUP205 expression, we found the glycolysis level of BLCA cells decreased and proliferation ability suppressed, mainly through AMPK signaling pathway inactivation. Collectively, our study explored a three-gene glycolysis-related signature that predict the prognosis of patients with BLCA, and highlights NUP205 as a potential therapeutic target for inhibiting glycolytic processes and proliferation in BLCA cells.

EGFLAM exhibits oncogenic activity and shows promise as a prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target in glioblastoma. (PubMed, Int Immunopharmacol)
The study identifies EGFLAM as a pivotal oncogenic factor in GBM, serving as both a prognostic biomarker and a viable therapeutic target. These findings lay the groundwork for future research into EGFLAM-targeted therapies, aiming to improve clinical outcomes for GBM patients.

Prognostic factors of 87 ovarian yolk sac tumor (OYST) patients and molecular characteristics of persistent and recurrent OYST. (PubMed, Gynecol Oncol)
Persistent and recurrent OYST associated with poor prognosis, and probably susceptible to immune checkpoint blockade therapy. Molecular characteristics contributed to predict the persistence and recurrence of OYST.

Heterogeneity characterization of hepatocellular carcinoma based on the sensitivity to 5-fluorouracil and development of a prognostic regression model. (PubMed, Front Pharmacol)
The HCC classification based on the sensitivity to 5-FU was in line with the prognostic differences observed in HCC and most of the genomic variation, immune infiltration, and heterogeneity of pathological pathways. The regression model related to 5-FU sensitivity may be of significance in individualized prognostic monitoring of HCC.
