    Mechanism of NUMBL Enhancing Axitinib Resistance in Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma by UCHL1-Mediated Deubiquitination of MMP9. (PubMed, J Biol Chem)
    In our work, we investigated the mechanism by which NUMBL facilitates VM-mediated resistance at the molecular, cellular, human tissue, and animal levels. By integrating novel insights into the roles of NUMBL, VM, and deubiquitination, this research aims to establish a theoretical framework for elucidating the underlying mechanisms of axitinib resistance and provide new perspectives for improving the efficacy of axitinib in the treatment of ccRCC.

    RNA m5C Modifications in the Development and Prognosis of Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer. (PubMed, Mol Carcinog)
    This approach yielded an optimized 11-gene prognostic signature comprising GGA1, NUMBL, ECHDC2, NLRC5, EIF2D, GJA1, XPC, DAZAP2, C6orf120, WDR45, and CES1, which demonstrated superior predictive performance in TCGA MIBC patients. These findings establish m5C RNA modification patterns as promising molecular signatures for MIBC prognosis and potential therapeutic targets.

    Numb and NumbL inhibit melanoma tumor growth by influencing the immune microenvironment. (PubMed, BMC Cancer)
    Numb and NumbL were found to inhibit melanoma cell growth by modulating immune cell activity. These results suggested that Numb and NumbL may be potential therapeutic targets for SKCM patient immunotherapy.

    ZFHX3 methylation in peripheral blood monocytes as a potential biomarker for pancreatic cancer detection. (PubMed, Pancreatology)
    Our study preliminarily suggests that ZFHX3 methylation combined with CA19-9 can improve the detection rate of PDAC. Especially in patients with normal CA19-9, ZFHX3 methylation can maintain stable diagnostic efficacy. The diagnostic value of ZFHX3 methylation still needs to be prospectively validated.

    Identification of a novel lymphangiogenesis signature associated with immune cell infiltration in colorectal cancer based on bioinformatics analysis. (PubMed, BMC Med Genomics)
    Our finding highlights the critical role of lymphangiogenesis in CRC progression and metastasis and provides a novel gene signature for CRC and novel therapeutic strategies for anti-lymphangiogenic therapies in CRC.

    Comprehensive pan-cancer analysis of expression profiles and prognostic significance for NUMB and NUMBL in human tumors. (PubMed, Medicine (Baltimore))
    Additionally, the pathway enrichment suggested that NUMB was implicated in Hippo, Neurotrophin, Thyroid hormone, and FoxO pathways, while MAPK, Hippo, Rap1, mTOR, and Notch pathways were related to the functions of NUMBL. This study highlights the predictive roles of NUMB and NUMBL in pan-cancer, suggesting NUMB and NUMBL might be served as potential biomarkers for diagnosis and prognosis in various malignant tumors.
