NTRK2 expression in gastrointestinal stromal tumors with a special emphasis on the clinicopathological and prognostic impacts. (PubMed, Sci Rep)
However, there was not clear difference in clinical outcomes according to the trkB expression status in small intestinal GISTs. These findings may provide a possible hypothesis for trkB overexpression contributing to the tumorigenesis and aggressive clinical outcome in GISTs of duodenal origin.

Agomelatine attenuates cisplatin-induced cognitive impairment via modulation of BDNF/TrkB signaling in rat hippocampus. (PubMed, J Chem Neuroanat)
In contrast, agomelatine treatment decreased both nNOS and TrkB positive scores. These findings indicate that agomelatine reduces cisplatin-related cognitive impairment by exerting anti-inflammatory action and possibly by the modulation of the BDNF/TrkB/nNOS pathways in the hippocampus.

[VIRTUAL] Rapid Detection of Solid Tumor Fusions Using a CartridgeBased System (AMP 2021)
The GENEFUSION assay is an accurate method for rapid fusion detection in ALK, ROS1, RET, and MET exon 14 splice variants. Due to the limited number of NTRK fusion positive cases analyzed, the performance of this gene is unclear. Further evaluation of non-targeted fusions is necessary to evaluate the performance of expression imbalance.
