In summary, this study illustrates that neoplastic T cells can show an NK-like immunophenotype. Features useful for supporting T-lineage in this context include cytoplasmic CD3 expression assessed using a T-cell-specific CD3 antibody, clonal TCR gene rearrangement, BCL11B expression, and detection of TCRαβ, TCRγδ, or TRBC by immunohistochemistry.

All together these data show that OCs negatively affect the NK cell cytotoxic activity, allowing the growth of NSCLC CSCs. Our findings reveal a previously unrecognized role of OCs in modulating the immune microenvironment by dampening NK cell function.

Given the clinical presentation, anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) encephalitis was initially suspected, and the patient was treated with intravenous methylprednisolone and intravenous immunoglobulin, resulting in significant improvement...The clinical presentation and paraneoplastic association with teratoma closely resemble anti-NMDAR encephalitis, suggesting that anti-NCAM1 antibodies may define a novel form of AE with psychotic manifestations. Further research is needed to clarify their role in neuroinflammatory disorders.

Feasibility and Safety of IL-15-Activated CD56+ Cell Therapy in High-Risk Acute Myeloid Leukemia after Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation: Phase I Clinical Trial. (PubMed, Cell J)
We identified a feasible method to activate CD56+ cells and evaluate the safety of their infusion in patients. Endocrine carcinoma with amphicrine carcinoma component at esophagogastric junction. (PubMed, Clin J Gastroenterol)

Disulfidptosis-related genes signature predicts prognosis and immune microenvironment in colon cancer. (PubMed, Front Mol Biosci)
As a risk factor, RAB7A relating to poor prognosis was identified in our study, and was a potential target for therapeutic agents such as PLX4720 and PD-0325901, while OXSM was the opposite. The 5-DRGs prognostic model can be used to assess the prognosis of patients with CC, and reflect the characteristics of their immune microenvironment. With RAB7A and OXSM as key determinants, this model provides a clinically applicable framework for risk stratification and personalized treatment guidance.

Testicular microcystic stromal tumor: a case report with MRI findings and literature review. (PubMed, Am J Transl Res)
This represents the first reported case of testicular MST with MRI findings, and its distinctive imaging features correlate with the tumor's unique histological structure. In this study, we comprehensively analyzed the clinical, radiological, histological, and immunohistochemical characteristics of this case and compared them with previously documented features in the literature, aiming to enhance the understanding of this rare entity and facilitate accurate diagnosis.

Tumor Exosomal L1 Cell Adhesion Molecule Promotes Brain Metastasis of Lung Cancer. (PubMed, Research (Wash D C))
Here, we found that exosomes secreted by lung cancer cells that had acquired epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor resistance and undergone epithelial-mesenchymal transition (osimertinib- and WZ4002-resistant H1975) exhibited enhanced brain-specific distribution and a concomitant increase in BrM compared with exosomes from parental H1975 cells. Clinically, exosomal L1CAM demonstrated diagnostic potential for BrM (area under the curve [AUC] = 0.80), and a combined exosomal L1CAM/ITGB3 panel significantly improved diagnostic accuracy (AUC = 0.98). Collectively, these findings identify exosomal L1CAM as a key regulator of brain-specific metastasis and support the clinical utility of the L1CAM/ITGB3 panel as a noninvasive biomarker for BrM in lung cancer.
