    Mitochondrial bioenergetic signatures differentiate asymptomatic from symptomatic Alzheimer's disease. (PubMed, bioRxiv)
    In contrast, microglia and oligodendrocytes proportions were reduced in AsymAD relative to AD. Our findings identify preserved mitochondrial bioenergetics as a defining feature of resilience in AD and suggest that enhancing NADH metabolism via NAD+ precursor-based interventions may potentially help in maintaining cognitive function despite amyloid and tau pathology.

    The role of the mitochondrial ribosomal protein family in detecting hepatocellular carcinoma and predicting prognosis, immune features, and drug sensitivity. (PubMed, Clin Transl Oncol)
    We identified 14 MRP genes as HCC diagnostic markers. We investigated FRG and m6A modification-related gene expression profiles and immune features in patients with HCC, and developed and validated a model incorporating MRP and FRG expression that accurately and reliably predicts HCC prognosis and may predict disease progression and treatment response.
