In conclusion, our data highlight that PCa-derived exosomes-loaded SNHG1 mediated osteogenesis through the SNHG1/YBX1/MMP16 axis. SNHG1 may serve as a potential diagnostic marker and therapeutic target for bone metastasis in PCa.

Single-Cell Transcriptomic Profiling of GL261 Glioblastoma Cells Reveals Gene Expression Signatures Underlying Tumorigenicity. (PubMed, Cell Mol Neurobiol)
We found that P2RX7, MMP15 and MMP16 are upregulated in neurosphere cells, indicating a potential role for these genes in tumor formation. Together these results reveal global transcriptional profiles of GL261 cells, establish a resource for further scRNA-Seq-based analyses, and give insight into gene expression changes relevant to glioblastoma tumor development.

In conclusion, we characterize the breadth of angiocentric glioma patterns in terms of demographics, anatomic location, and MYB fusion patterns. The updated molecular diagnosis of angiocentric glioma as of 2021 warrants continued exploration of the scope of MYB oncogene fusions as drivers of prognosis and targets for future therapies.

Astrocytoma with high-grade features and MYBL1-MMP16 fusion. (PubMed, Surg Neurol Int)
Both the initially resected and recurrent tumor revealed MYBL1-MMP16 fusion, which is much more commonly found in pediatric low-grade gliomas and, to our knowledge has not been described in the context of an adult glioma. The significance of MYBL1-MMP16 fusion in adult gliomas in relation to survival and likelihood of recurrence is, therefore, unknown and requires more extensive research.
