Therapeutic combination index analysis indicated robust synergy between FMNT and 5-FU, with combination therapy achieving superior tumor growth inhibition compared to monotherapies. Collectively, our findings uncover a novel miR-490-3p/ABCC2 regulatory mechanism underlying FMNT's antitumor activity and highlight its potential for chemosensitization through ABCC2 inhibition, providing a strong rationale for flavonoid-based adjuvant therapy in CRC management.

Predictive Value of A miRNA Signature for Distant Metastasis in Lung Cancer (PubMed, Zhongguo Fei Ai Za Zhi)
Logistic regression analysis showed that this miRNA signature was an independent risk factor for DM of lung adenocarcinoma. Next, target genes of the eight miRNAs were predicted, and enrichment analysis showed that these target genes were enriched in a variety of pathways, including pathways in cancer, herpes simplex virus I infection, PI3K-Akt pathway, MAPK pathway, Ras pathway, etc. This miRNA signature has good efficacy in predicting DM of lung adenocarcinoma and has the potential to be a predictor of DM of lung adenocarcinoma.

MiR-490-3p promotes cell apoptosis and cell-cycle arrest in osteosarcoma via the modulation of CDCA8/ATF3 by targeting NUSAP1. (PubMed, Transl Pediatr)
MiR-490-3p upregulation inhibited cell proliferation and metastasis but promoted the cell apoptosis and cell-cycle arrest in osteosarcoma via the regulation of CDCA8/ATF3 by targeting NUSAP1. Thus, miR-490-3p might be a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of osteosarcoma.

Based on RNA correlation analysis, 1, 23, and 2 potential ceRNA regulatory axes were identified in STAD (PVT1/miR-490-3p/HMGA2), LIHC (DLX6-AS1/miR-139-5p/TOP2A, etc.), and COAD (STRCP1 & LINC00488/miR-142-3p/GAB1), respectively. This study advances the understanding of ceRNA networks in digestive cancers, highlighting RNA biomarkers with potential as therapeutic targets for personalized treatment strategies.
