The value of a panel of circulating microRNAs in screening prostate cancer. (PubMed, Transl Cancer Res)
Bioinformatics analysis showed that the genes targeted by these miRNAs can be linked to the development of PCa. Our study detected and identified a set of miRNAs that serves as screening marker for PCa, which may assist in early diagnosis and treatment of PCa.

Novel hypoxia-induced HIF1α-circTDRD3-positive feedback loop promotes the growth and metastasis of colorectal cancer. (PubMed, Oncogene)
Our findings reveal that circTDRD3 facilitates the proliferation and metastasis of CRC through a positive feedback loop mediated by the HIF1α/PTBP1/circTDRD3/miR-1231/HIF1α axis. Therefore, circTDRD3 may serve as a prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target for patients with CRC.

CircKIF4A Is a Prognostic Factor and Modulator of Natural Killer/T-Cell Lymphoma Progression. (PubMed, Cancers (Basel))
During NKTL progression, circKIF4A regulated PDK1 and BCL11A levels by sponging miR-1231. Our data indicated that circKIF4A is oncogenic in NKTL and that it is a predictor of poor prognosis of NKTL.

Screening for Prognostic microRNAs Associated with Treatment Failure in Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma. (PubMed, Cancers (Basel))
Diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) treatment with R-CHOP regimen produces 5-year progression-free survival and overall survival of around 60-70%...A subsequent gene set enrichment analysis in patients revealed the implication of the first two miRNAs in cell cycle control and chemoresistance-related pathways, whereas the last one was involved in immunological processes. In conclusion, this novel strategy identified three promising prognostic markers for DLBCL patients at high risk of failure with standard therapy.

Circular RNA circKIF4A facilitates the malignant progression and suppresses ferroptosis by sponging miR-1231 and upregulating GPX4 in papillary thyroid cancer. (PubMed, Aging (Albany NY))
In conclusion, our study proved that circKIF4A-miR-1231-GPX4 axis played a vital role in cancer proliferation and ferroptosis by competing endogenous RNAs. Therefore, targeting circKIF4A is very likely to be a potential method for treatment of papillary thyroid cancer in the future.

Circ_0005795 located in cytoplasm, which exerted its tumor-promoting effect through targeting and sponging miR-1231 in BCC cells. In summary, Circ_0005795 works as an oncogene in BCC, which might be used as a promising biomarker and a potential therapeutic target for BCC diagnosis and treatment.
