Therefore, MAFB plays a key role in the PGE2-mediated LM class switch by regulating the expression of Alox15. Our study identified a previously unknown mechanism by which MAFB in macrophages alleviates ischemic AKI and provides new insights into regulating the LM class switch in acute inflammatory conditions.

MAFB (MAF BZIP Transcription Factor B) • ALOX15 (Arachidonate 15-Lipoxygenase)
Our results suggest that increased MAFB expression in circulating monocytes may mediate chronic inflammatory status in patients with T2DM. Therefore, MAFB gene expression in circulating monocytes has certain clinical significance for predicting and assisting in the diagnosis of T2DM.
Transcriptome analyses revealed that MYB ablation produces consensual increase of MAFB expression in MYB-dependent cells and, interestingly, the ectopic expression of MAFB could phenocopy the effect of MYB suppression. Accordingly, in silico stratification analyses of molecular data from AML patients revealed a reciprocal relationship between MYB and MAFB expression, highlighting a novel biological interconnection between these two factors in AML and supporting new rationales of MAFB targeting in MLL-rearranged leukaemias.
These results suggest that the hypoxia-ROS-HMOX1 axis and hypoxia-induced MafB may be important mechanisms of proteasome inhibitor resistance in hypoxic microenvironments.
These cells infiltrated into the tumor, dismantled macrometastases by nibbling cancer cells, and skewed toward proinflammatory macrophages to unleash antitumor T-cell responses. These findings provide an immunotherapy strategy that could be applicable for treating liver metastasis and highlight the therapeutic potential of targeting tissue-resident macrophages in cancer.
Finally, RT-qPCR was conducted to demonstrate the MAFB expression in T2D and PC. This study identified 15 hub genes with significant effects on the association of T2D with PC, and MAFB gene might be a biomarker for PC and had potential treatment value for PC.
The collective results elucidated that circ_0051079 contributed to OS progression via miR-1286-mediated upregulation of MAFB, confirming the interaction of circ_0051079/miR-1286/MAFB axis in OS.
Moreover, increased amounts of MAFB cells were related to poor overall survival and disease-free survival, especially in smokers. These data indicate that MAFB may be a suitable prognostic biomarker for smoker lung cancer patients.

Therefore, we concluded that local anesthetic levobupivacaine inhibited stemness of osteosarcoma cells by epigenetically repressing MAFB though reducing KAT5 expression. Levobupivacaine may act as a potential therapeutic candidate for osteosarcoma by targeting cancer stem cells.
GPBAR1 promoted the proliferation of HGG by inducing MAFB expression. Both GPBAR1 and MAFB were prognostic biomarkers of HGG, and patients with co-expression of MAFB and GPBAR1 had worse prognosis than those with only GPBAR1 or MAFB expression.
