NF-κB Driven Lymphangiogenesis Impacts Kidney Function via a VEGFR-3 Mediated Pathway. (PubMed, JCI Insight)
Compensatory upregulation of PROX-1 and podoplanin occurred despite decreased VEGFR-3 and LYVE-1 total protein expression, suggesting complex regulatory mechanisms. Our findings suggest that RelA is a critical sensor for inflammation and regulator of protective lymphangiogenesis following kidney injury and provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for improved kidney injury outcomes.

No association was detected between lymphatic vessel counts and the presence of lymph node metastases. Our results suggest that peritumoral lymphatic vasculature is a prognostic indicator for post-surgical survival in cases of canine cutaneous MCTs.

Our findings can increase the understanding of how LVs exit the skull and contribute to the neuropathophysiological processes. Knowledge of the lymphatic network is important for identifying metastatic sites of various cancers. Integrated bioinformatics analysis to elucidate cellular communication in the microenvironment of breast cancer. (PubMed, Discov Oncol)
In the tumor microenvironment of breast cancer, intercellular communication pairs of different cell types and molecules can exacerbate the development of breast cancer. among them, through the present study, we found that CXCL12-CXCR4 and FGF7-FGFR1 are the most important. Also, most significantly differentially expressed genes including CHRDL1, SCARA5, LYVE1, PI16, and SAA2 seemed to play a critical role in these mechanisms and immune cell infiltration, shaping the TME of BC.
