LINC00092 exerts tumor-suppressive effects in ESCC cells by inhibiting cancer progression through the LINC00092/MAZ/NFE2L2 axis and promoting ferroptosis. Therefore, LINC00092 may serve as a potential therapeutic target for ESCC.
Altogether, the present results indicated that LINC00092 and MCM3AP-AS1 overexpression is associated with clinico-pathological characteristic of GAC patients. In addition, both of these LncRNAs may have prognostic value for estimation of patients' overall survival.
The functional analysis of DEmRNAs in the ceRNA network was conducted using Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes and gene ontology. We constructed RCC-specific ceRNA networks and identified the crucial lncRNAs associated with RCC using bioinformatics analysis, which will help us further understand the pathogenesis of this disease.
Taken together, our findings revealed the lncRNAs signatures as potential therapeutic targets and molecular diagnostic biomarkers in colon cancer. Furthermore, the evidence provided substantiates the important role of promoter methylation in regulating the expression levels for both of these lncRNAs.
Our study validated that LINC00092 is a tumour suppressor lncRNA in PTC. MYB directly or indirectly represses LINC00092, which contributes to the PTC progression. MYB, LINC00092, and miR-4741 form a coherent feed forward loop. The axis of MYB-LINC00092 promotes progression of PTC.
At the same time, the enhanced influences of TC cells caused by miR-542-3p upregulation could be attenuated by the enforced LPP.This study innovatively reveals that LINC00092 acts as an antineoplastic lncRNA to restrain the development of TC via regulating miR-542-3p/LPP. The findings of this study may provide a prospective drug target on LINC00092/miR-542-3p/LPP axis for the treatment of TC.
Low expressions of CADM3-AS1, LINC00092, and ZNF667-AS1 in ceRNA network were probably promising poor prognostic biomarkers for CESC patients. The genes show a prospective research area for CESC-targeted treatment in the future.
