Furthermore, Meflin deficiency reduced the area of tumor vessels in a TNBC mouse model, highlighting its role in CAF-mediated inhibition of TNBC progression and improvement of drug delivery. Accordingly, Meflin plays a role as a potential functional marker of rCAFs in TNBC.

Furthermore, single-cell RNA sequencing analysis confirmed this finding and revealed elevated WNT6 expression specifically in clusters of Meflin-high tumor cells, highlighting a potential link between Meflin and WNT signaling activation in meningioma progression. Thus, this study provides novel insights into the role of Meflin in meningeal development and meningioma pathophysiology.

In addition, our results demonstrated that, in triple-negative breast cancer, cisplatin treatment reduced the level of ISLR, and PKM2 inhibition sensitizes tumors to cisplatin by enhancing ROS production; and argued that PKM2 inhibition can synergize with cisplatin to limit tumor growth. Our results demonstrate a molecular mechanism by which cells respond to oxidative stress and modulate the redox balance.

Integrated analysis of potential prognosis and differential expression between primary and metastatic foci for COL12A1 in breast cancer (ESMO 2023)
IHC staining revealed that the expression of COL12A1 was upregulated in primary foci of TNBC. Conclusions In conclusion, COL12A1 may be a poor prognostic predictor and a specific therapeutic target for primary foci in BC, especially in TNBC.

Molecular Subtyping and Survival Analysis of Osteosarcoma Reveals Prognostic Biomarkers and Key Canonical Pathways. (PubMed, Cancers (Basel))
Between the two subtypes, three upregulated genes, POP4, HEY1, CERKL, and seven downregulated genes, CEACAM1, ABLIM1, LTBP2, ISLR, LRRC32, PTPRF, and GPX3, associated with OS metastasis were found to be differentially regulated. Thus, the molecular subtyping results provide a strong basis for classification of OS patients that could be used to develop better prognostic treatment strategies.
