Retinoic acid signaling regulates astrocyte reactivity by modulating MAPK/NF-κB pathways and mitochondrial integrity. (PubMed, Neurochem Int)
These observations coincided with the restoration of mitochondrial integrity and mitophagy. Taken together, these findings identify RA metabolism as a key regulatory node in astrocyte reactivity and suggest a potential therapeutic role for RA in neuroinflammatory conditions.

Banxia Xiexin Decoction alleviates N-Methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine-induced gastric precancerous lesions by modulating the gastric microbiota. (PubMed, J Ethnopharmacol)
BXD intervention demonstrated significant therapeutic effects in GPL mice. The underlying mechanisms are associated with the restoration of gastric microbiota dysbiosis, promotion of beneficial bacterial growth, suppression of potential pathogens, modulation of the inflammatory response, and alleviation of mucosal damage.

Cytosolic DNA structures produced by mismatch repair deficiency coordinate anti-tumor immunity in colorectal cancer. (PubMed, Cell Rep)
We also show that micronuclei are less effective at inducing anti-tumor immunity and instead increase Treg activation and IL-10 production. Overall, these data highlight the role of specific cyDNA structures in anti-tumor immunity and provide knowledge for improved design of therapeutic DNA-based cGAS/STING agonists to improve the prognosis of poorly immunogenic tumors like CIN CRCs.

Curcumin-Fullerene Nanoantioxidant Treats Ulcerative Colitis through Antioxidant and Anti-Inflammatory Mechanisms. (PubMed, Mol Pharm)
Furthermore, CUR@HA-C60 demonstrated favorable biosafety profiles in murine models and significantly improved CUR bioavailability by suppressing inflammation, reducing OS-related damage, and restoring intestinal epithelial integrity. These findings indicate that CUR@HA-C60 represents a promising oral therapeutic strategy for the treatment of inflammatory diseases.

Engineered nanovesicles as a DC vaccine to enhance the antitumor efficacy of CAR-T cells against solid tumors. (PubMed, J Nanobiotechnology)
This study establishes a novel combinatorial strategy utilizing CD205-targeted, tumor cell-derived NVs as a DC vaccine to effectively reprogram the immunosuppressive TME. CAR-T + Vac therapy significantly enhances CAR-T cell infiltration and antitumor efficacy against lung cancer, providing a versatile and promising platform for advancing solid tumor immunotherapy.

Modulation of inflammatory and oxidative stress pathways by ethanolic extract of Suaeda fruticosa Forssk. Ex J.F.Gmel in animal models of ulcerative colitis. (PubMed, Inflammopharmacology)
Animals were treated with 125, 250, and 500 mg/kg of SF-Et, 500 mg/kg of sulfasalazine, and 10 mg/kg of the compound combination (CC)...ADMET prediction showed good intestinal absorption (> 90%) and a relatively low toxicity profile of studied compounds. These findings confirm that S. fruticosa and its major compounds can mitigate UC development by modulating inflammatory and oxidative stress biomarkers.

Perioperative immune dynamics and infectious complications: a pooled-data analysis of prospective studies. (PubMed, Int J Surg)
Surgical injury initiates a coordinated immune response with early inflammation and delayed innate immune suppression. Failure to recover innate immune function by postoperative day 3 is associated with increased infection risk. Perioperative immune profiling may enable early risk stratification and inform targeted immunomodulatory strategies.

Akkermansia muciniphila reduces neuroinflammation and Aβ deposition via tryptophan metabolism in the APP/PS1 mouse model of Alzheimer's disease. (PubMed, Alzheimers Res Ther)
At the same time, A. muciniphila administration improves cognitive deficits, alleviates neuroinflammation and Aβ deposition via AhR/NF-κB/NLRP3 signaling pathway in APP/PS1 mice. In summary, our findings suggest A. muciniphila is a promising approach for preventing AD progression by microbiota-gut-brain axis.

Effect of an integrated mHealth supportive care program on symptom burden and self-efficacy in post-treatment breast cancer survivors: a randomized controlled trial. (PubMed, J Cancer Surviv)
The ThrivePath program provides a practical and accessible tool for survivors to manage their health following active treatment. By facilitating access to evidence-based resources and enabling direct communication with a care team, the program can help alleviate persistent symptoms, build confidence in self-management, and improve overall quality of life during the transition to survivorship.

Genetic predisposition to inflammation and psychopathology: A transdiagnostic network analysis. (PubMed, J Affect Disord)
These associations were largely independent of diagnosis and CT exposure. Integrating inflammatory genetic predisposition into networks of transdiagnostic symptom dimensions reveals small but consistent links between immune-related genetic risk and psychopathology, highlighting shared and distinct immunological pathways across psychiatric disorders.
