The Ad-IFI35/CAIX vaccine also elicited a strong CD8+ T cell-mediated immunity against tumor metastasis and growth in lung metastasis and orthotopic renal carcinoma models. These results indicate that the Ad vaccine dual targeting IFI35 and CAIX is a potential strategy for renal carcinoma treatment.

Targeting IFI35 effectively suppressed in vivo tumor growth and prolonged survival of orthotopic xenograft-bearing mice. Collectively, these findings reveal the tumor-promoting functions of IFI35 and suggest that targeting IFI35 or its downstream effectors may provide effective approaches to improve GBM treatment.

Dysregulated immune and metabolic pathways are associated with poor survival in adult acute myeloid leukemia with CEBPA bZIP in-frame mutations. (PubMed, Blood Cancer J)
Genes in mitochondrial complexes I (NDUFA12 and NDUFB6) and V (ATP5PB and ATP5IF1) were overexpressed and were associated with poorer survival, and the results were independently validated in the TARGET AML cohort. In conclusion, concurrent WT1 or DNMT3A mutations and a dysregulated immune and metabolic state were correlated with poor survival in patients with CEBPA, and upfront allogeneic transplantation may be indicated for better long-term disease control.

Ablation of IFI35 promotes the infiltration of effector CD8T cells, and thereby sensitizes TNBC to anti-PD-1 immunotherapy. Our data suggest that IFI35 limits antitumor immunity and may be expected to become a new immunotherapy target in TNBC.

This study provides new insights into population-specific differences in gene expression patterns and their associated pathways in ESCC. Our findings suggest that changes in extracellular matrix (ECM) organization may be crucial to the development and progression of this cancer, and that environmental and genetic factors play important roles in the disease. The novel DEGs identified may serve as potential biomarkers for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment.

The results highlighted two gene signatures related to the immune and stromal environments that cluster PDAC patients into high- and low-risk groups, impacting patients' stratification and therapeutic decision making. Moreover, HCP5, SLFN13, IRF9, IFIT2, and IFI35 immune genes are related to the prognosis of PDAC patients for the first time.
