NLR and LDH may be used as prognostic biomarkers patients with SCLC treated with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors. The promising clinical application of NLR and LDH in efficacy prognostic indicators and beneficiary selection for SCLC immunotherapy is highlighted.

CD47, CD68, and CD163 are significant prognostic markers in NPC, with higher levels being associated with poorer OS and PFS. Elevated MLR and MAR values also predict worse outcomes, underscoring their value as prognostic tools. CD163 and MLR are particularly strong predictors, highlighting the crucial role of TAMs in NPC management and suggesting that CD163 is a potential therapeutic target within the immune checkpoint pathway.
IBMs play a diverse predictive role in pCR in HER2-positive breast cancer stratified by neoadjuvant regimens. The combination of high MLR and high NLR enabled better identification of patients with poor responses to anti-HER2 therapy than high MLR or NLR alone.

Our results demonstrated that the preoperative MLR was a good prognosis indicator to predict DFS and OS following curative hepatectomy in patients with ICC.
Given the lack of correlation between PD-L1 expression and clinical outcomes, better predictive biomarkers are necessary. Addition of inflammation markers identified in this study, when validated in larger studies, may assist in refined prediction of survival in ICI treated HIV associated lung cancer.
