These findings suggest that F13B regulates angiogenesis through the HIF-1α/VEGF pathway and plays a crucial role in HCC progression. Our results highlight the potential of F13B as a therapeutic target in HCC, providing novel insights into the molecular mechanisms of HCC and its prognostic significance.

PKHD1L1, ANGPTL6, FABP4 and C3 can assist to diagnose ccRCC. The prognostic model constituted of VSIG4, HLA-DRA, SERPINF1, and IGLV2-23 can significantly predict the prognosis of ccRCC patients, but this still needs more clinical trials to verify.

F13B may be a novel marker for postoperative acute pain. Our results may benefit postoperative pain management.

The complement cascade in sEVs was significantly involved in HCC progression. C1QB, C1QC, C4BPA, and C4BPB were highly abundant in the plasma sEVs from patients with HCC and might represent molecular signatures.
