ELAPOR1 (Endosome-Lysosome Associated Apoptosis And Autophagy Regulator 1)

We constructed a risk prognostic model for UCEC based on a combination of lysosomal- and lipid metabolism-related genes. Our findings highlight the oncogenic potential of PLAAT1 in endometrial cancer and provide novel insights into the diagnosis and therapy of this cancer type.

Overall, the substrate profile of MT5-MMP has not been well defined, and selective inhibitors of MT5-MMP have not been described. These advances will be needed for further consideration of MT5-MMP as a therapeutic target in Alzheimer's disease and other pathologies.

Importantly, the diagnostic capabilities of these ARGs demonstrated significant efficacy in distinguishing OS from unaffected states. Through rigorous bioinformatics analyses, this study identifies 11 ARGs as novel biomarker candidates for OS, elucidating their potential roles in the disease's pathogenesis.

It was observed that UCEC patients with a high PCD score may not benefit from immunotherapy, but some chemo drugs like Bortezomib may be useful...This model accurately predicts the clinical prognosis and drug sensitivity of UCEC. The findings suggest that the PCD signature can serve as a valuable tool in assessing prognosis and guiding treatment decisions for UCEC patients.

Taken together, our data suggest that enhanced ELAPOR1 expression promotes transcriptome and metabolome characteristics that are indicative of the classical/progenitor subtype, whereas its reduction associates with basal-like/squamous tumors with increased disease aggressiveness in PDAC patients. These findings position ELAPOR1 as a promising candidate for diagnostic and therapeutic targeting in PDAC.

These data demonstrate that N-linked glycosylation of KIAA1324 is essential for the suppressive role of KIAA1324 protein in gastric cancer progression and indicates that KIAA1324 may have anti-tumor effects by targeting cancer-related genes with N-linked glycosylation. In conclusion, our study suggests the PTM of KIAA1324 including N-linked glycosylation and fucosylation is a necessary factor to consider for cancer prognosis and therapy improvement.

ELAPOR1 plays an inhibitory role in CRC and may be used as a prognostic indicator and a potential target for treatment.
