Multiomics signatures (RADL, PATHO and DLG3) demonstrated great potential in predicting the pCR of breast cancer patients who underwent NAC. The RADL and PATHO signatures are associated with DLG3 status and could help doctors or patients choose proper neoadjuvant chemotherapy regimens (TEC regimens). This simple, structured, convenient and inexpensive multiomics model could help clinicians and patients make treatment decisions.

SOX4 regulates proliferation and apoptosis of human ovarian granulosa-like tumor cell line KGN through the Hippo pathway. (PubMed, Biochem Biophys Res Commun)
In addition, the protein expression levels of YAP1 were markedly elevated, while p-YAP1 were notably reduced after overexpression of SOX4 in KGN cells. Thus, these results suggested that SOX4 regulates apoptosis, proliferation and migration of KGN cells, at least partly, through activation of the Hippo signaling pathway, which might be implicated in mammalian follicle development.

Neuronal activity promotes glioma progression by inducing proneural-to-mesenchymal transition in glioma stem cells. (PubMed, Cancer Res)
Levetiracetam, an antiepileptic drug, reduced the neuronal production of miR-184-3p-enriched exosomes, inhibited GSC PMT, and increased radiosensitivity of tumors to prolong survival in xenograft mouse models. Together, these findings indicate that exosomes derived from active neurons promote glioblastoma progression and radioresistance by inducing PMT of GSCs.
