Pre-mRNA processing factor 19 functions in DNA damage repair and radioresistance by modulating cyclin D1 in hepatocellular carcinoma. (PubMed, Mol Ther Nucleic Acids)
The combination of PRP19 and cyclin D1 was more valuable than each single marker for predicting the prognosis of patients. Taken together, the present results demonstrate that PRP19 promotes DNA damage repair by modulating cyclin D1 expression and function, thereby contributing to the radioresistance in HCC.

Inhibition of angiotensin II type 1 receptor by candesartan reduces tumor growth and ameliorates fibrosis in colorectal cancer. (PubMed, EXCLI J)
Histological evaluation showed that Candesartan increased tumor necrosis, reduced tumor density and attenuated collagen deposition reducing tumor fibrosis in tumor xenograft. Candesartan, an inhibitor of the RAS, when used in combination with 5-FU reduced tumor growth by inhibiting fibrosis and inducing ROS production, supporting further clinical studies on this therapeutic approach for treatment of CRC.

In conclusion, this study revealed that aberrant ANXA4 upregulation is associated with poor survival in BLBC. ANXA4 could activate JAK-STAT3 signaling by elevating the expression of JAK1 and p-STAT3, which was mediated by direct interaction with ANXA1.

Thus, these findings indicate that lncRNA-OBFC2A targeted to Smad3 regulated cyclin D1 influences cell cycle arrest induced by 1,4-BQ. LncRNA-OBFC2A, Smad3 and Cyclin D1 as a set of biomarkers play important roles in benzene haematotoxicity.

≤ Cyclin D1 protein affecting global women's health by regulating HPV mediated adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix. (PubMed, Sci Rep)
The significant mean difference (p = 0.0001) and the pairwise comparison between Cyclin D1/JAG1 (p = 0.0001), and Cyclin D1/Notch-3 (p = 0.0001) were observed. The above Notch signaling proteins showed their synergistic role in modulating Cyclin D1 which in-turn regulates HPV-16 associated ADC of the uterine cervix (UC), affecting women's global health.

Moreover, knockdown of INSM1 sensitives NPC cells to IR in vivo and protects xenograft mice from mortality. Taken together, these results indicate that INSM1 modulates nasopharyngeal carcinoma to radiotherapy by controlling cyclin D1-dependent DNA repair machinery that could be manipulated as a novel molecular target for NPC therapy.
