Primary pulmonary myxoid sarcoma with detected EWSR1 gene translocation: a case report. (PubMed, AME Case Rep)
PPMS is an extremely rare low-grade sarcoma with significant diagnostic implications due to its genetic characteristics. Surgical resection remains the primary treatment modality, though the potential for local recurrence or metastasis necessitates ongoing monitoring and further research to establish standardized treatment protocols and understand its biological behavior.

Sensory neurons drive immune exclusion by stimulating a dense extracellular matrix in the breast cancer tumor microenvironment. (PubMed, Cell)
Collectively, our findings reveal a connection between sensory neurons and CAFs that obstructs antitumor immunity in TNBC. The CGRP antagonist rimegepant thus has clinical translational potential as an immuno-sensitizer to augment tumor immunotherapy.

Integrating single-cell RNA sequencing with spatial transcriptomics reveal the fibrosis-related genes in hepatocellular carcinoma. (PubMed, Front Immunol)
In this study, we identified fibrosis-related prognostic genes in HCC, including LUC7L3, CREB1, and YIPF4. The roles of these genes in TME were further explored through relevant analyses, potentially providing clinical evidence to support decision-making in HCC management.

Intracranial mesenchymal tumor, FET::CREB fusion-positive: an integrative analysis of 81 cases. (PubMed, Neuro Oncol)
This work provides further characterization of ICMT as an important CNS mesenchymal neoplasm that is prone to tumor recurrence, showing 2 prognostically relevant methylation subclasses, and warranting diagnostic distinction from other epigenetically and histologically related tumors. ICMTs show substantial overexpression of the CREM gene, independent of fusion type.

Regulation of stress tolerance by CREB1 sustains multiple myeloma cell survival. (PubMed, Cell Death Dis)
We showed for the first time that TXNIP inhibition is also toxic against MM cells, interfering with UPR and autophagy. Thus, our data highlights the essential roles of CREB1 and TXNIP in MM cell survival under chronic stress, providing new insights into MM pathophysiology and novel therapeutic strategies for patients with high-risk disease.

Mitochondrial LINC00942 activates complex I and inhibits ferroptosis through interacting with GRSF1 in liver cancer. (PubMed, Sci China Life Sci)
Notably, administration of GalNAc-conjugated siRNA targeting LINC00942 effectively suppresses tumor growth in orthotopic xenograft models. Collectively, these findings underscore the oncogenic function of LINC00942 through the modulation of mitochondrial bioenergetics and ferroptosis, highlighting it as a promising therapeutic target for HCC.

Huaier-derived neutral polysaccharide WHPB mitigates renal fibrosis via CSF-1R/PI3K/AKT-mediated FUT8 inhibition. (PubMed, Phytomedicine)
WHPB targets CSF-1R to suppress FUT8 via PI3K/AKT signaling, blocking key fibrotic pathways. These findings support WHPB's development as a targeted therapy that suppresses FUT8 for RIF.

UBE2K promotes breast cancer growth by ubiquitinating and degrading STUB1 to regulate the PKA/CREB1 signaling pathway, forming a feedback loop. (PubMed, Biochim Biophys Acta Mol Basis Dis)
In conclusion, the UBE2K/CREB1 positive feedback loop promotes the development of BC, indicating that UBE2K could be a viable therapeutic target for anti-BC.

Exosome and BCR-ABL mediated molecular alterations in endothelial cells in chronic myeloid leukemia: identification of seven genes and their regulatory network. (PubMed, PeerJ)
A competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network involving miRNAs (e.g., miR-16-5p, miR-126-5p) and lncRNAs (e.g., AC008124.1, AC064799.2, AGAP11) potentially modulates their expression. This study identifies seven novel candidate biomarkers dysregulated in endothelial cells under combined BCR-ABL and exosomal stimulation, shedding light on the molecular crosstalk between leukemic cells and the vascular niche.

PDE4 modulates muscle signaling in cancer cachexia. (PubMed, Trends Pharmacol Sci)
found that tumor-derived signals suppress the cAMP-protein kinase A (PKA)-CREB1 axis, destabilizing mitochondrial homeostasis. Restoring cAMP signaling through phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibition rescued mitochondrial function, highlighting a promising strategy to mitigate tumor-induced cachexia.

Angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma of the adrenal gland: a clinical and pathological observation of two cases. (PubMed, World J Surg Oncol)
Atypical-location AFH (e.g., adrenal) exhibits divergent pathologic phenotypes. Diagnosis requires integrated IHC/molecular analysis (e.g., EWSR1 status). Prognostic implications of genetic alterations (e.g., ALK expression) highlight the need for molecular profiling to guide therapy and prognosis.
