These results demonstrate that in ovo mRNA vaccination against MDV rapidly activates organ-specific immune and metabolic pathways, providing a transcriptomic framework for the rational design of poultry mRNA vaccines.

Myoepithelial Tumor of Soft Tissue With the Novel IRF2BP2::CDX1 Gene Fusion. (PubMed, Cureus)
Herein, we report a novel gene fusion, IRF2BP2::CDX1, in a myoepithelial tumor of soft tissue in a 36-year-old female harboring rare morphologic findings, including multinucleated giant cells and microhemorrhages. Our case adds to the expanding pool of EWSR1-negative myoepithelial tumors of soft tissue. These rare tumors appear to share some histological features, including fascicular spindle cell arrangement with vascular changes. Our report further corroborates the clinicopathological characteristics and molecular features of such tumors.

CDX1 and CDX2 suppress colon cancer stemness by inhibiting β-catenin-facilitated formation of Pol II-DSIF-PAF1C complex. (PubMed, Cell Death Dis)
Our findings suggest that CDX1/2 cooperatively suppressed colonic tumorigenesis and cancer stemness by antagonizing β-catenin via the DSIF and PAF1 complexes. Additionally, DSIF and PAF1 complexes acted as transcriptional platforms that integrated and funneled both tumor-suppressive and oncogenic signals into the expression of genes that control colon cancer stemness.

Of these, LGR5, which is particularly associated with lack of goblet cell features, may function in the control of differentiation rather than direct control of cell growth, as has so far mostly been assumed. These results emphasize the importance of methylation changes in driving cancer progression.

Detection of caudal type homeobox 1 (CDX1) gene methylated DNA,as a stool-based diagnostic biomarker in colorectal cancer. (PubMed, J Genet)
This study is the first report on CDX1 methylation in stool samples of CRC patients. Therefore, further research should be carried out with a larger sample size to evaluate its efficacy as a diagnostic biomarker in clinical laboratories.
