    A case of quadruple wild-type gastrointestinal stromal tumor with CDC42BPB::NTRK3 fusion and abundant lymphoid infiltration. (PubMed, Diagn Pathol)
    However, the expression of the Trk protein in tumor tissue was not detected by immunohistochemistry (IHC). This finding expands the genetic spectrum of NTRK rearrangements in GISTs.

    Tumor intrinsic CDC42BPB confers resistance to anti-PD-1 immune checkpoint blockade in breast cancer. (PubMed, Mol Ther)
    We also found that CDC42BPB phosphorylated AURKA, which in turn upregulated PD-L1 through cMYC. Our results have revealed a robust link between tumor-intrinsic kinase and immunotherapy resistance and provided a rationale for a unique combination therapy of CDC42BPB inhibition and anti-PD-1 immunotherapy for breast cancer.

    A novel fusion between CDC42BPB and ALK in a patient with quadruple wild-type gastrointestinal stromal tumor. (PubMed, Mol Genet Genomic Med)
    We unexpectedly found that this GIST patient showed ALK (D5F3) overexpression and harbored a novel fusion CDC42BPB exon 24-ALK in exon 20.
