In AML, it correlated with CD33 expression and inv(16)/t(16;16). In conclusion, mesothelin is rare in ALL but enriched in specific AML subtypes and not prognostic for survival.

CBLC promotes the development of colorectal cancer by promoting ABI1 degradation to activate the ERK signaling pathway. (PubMed, Transl Oncol)
Taken together, these results demonstrate that CBLC acts as a tumor promoter in CRC through triggering the ubiquitination and degradation of ABI1 and activating the ERK signaling pathway. CBLC may be a potential novel target for CRC.

Methylation of the epigenetic JMJD2D protein by SET7/9 promotes prostate tumorigenesis. (PubMed, Front Oncol)
In sum, these data have unveiled a novel mode of regulation of JMJD2D through lysine methylation, illustrated how this can affect oncogenic properties by influencing expression of the CBLC gene, and established a pro-tumorigenic role for CBLC in the prostate. A corollary is that JMJD2D and CBLC inhibitors could have therapeutic benefits in the treatment of prostate and possibly other cancers.

CBLC inhibits the proliferation and metastasis of breast cancer cells via ubiquitination and degradation of CTTN. (PubMed, J Recept Signal Transduct Res)
The inhibitory effect of CBLC on breast cancer cell proliferation, migration and invasion could partly be reversed by CTTN. Taken together, our study clarified the biological role of CBLC as a tumor suppressor and discovered its functional substrate, providing a molecular basis for CBLC/CTTN as a potential therapeutic target in breast cancer.
