This study identifies three novel APOC3 isoforms and highlights their expression in both hepatic and intestinal cell models. Further studies are needed to elucidate the functional roles of these novel isoforms and their contribution to the regulation of APOC3 gene expression.
Meanwhile, mitochondrial ROS produced by increased oxidative phosphorylation of free fatty acids facilitated the classical inflammasome activation, which exerted an auxiliary effect on inflammasome activation of macrophages. Collectively, the increased antitumor activity of CD8 T cells was mediated by the ApoC3-stimulated inflammasome activation of macrophages, and the mimetic ApoC3 peptides that can bind TLR2/4 could be a future strategy to target liver cancer.
Associations of APOB, APOC3, and HMGCR inhibition and LPL agonist with distinct lung cancer risks underscore the multifaceted nature of these relationships. The observed mediation effects highlight the considerable influence of neutral ceramidase on the lung cancer risk reduction achieved by APOB and APOC3 inhibition.

APOC3 (Apolipoprotein C3) • RAP2A (RAP2A, Member Of RAS Oncogene Family) • APOA5 (Apolipoprotein A5)
When taken in combination, this covers the 100% of the patients with early HCC. miR-200b, APOA2 and APOC3 proteins are sensitive markers and can be potentially useful in combination for the early diagnosis of HCC.
