    AEBP1 promotes papillary thyroid cancer progression by activating BMP4 signaling. (PubMed, Neoplasia)
    Over-expression of BMP4 can rescue the inhibitory effects of AEBP1 knockout on the growth, invasion, and EMT phenotype of PTC cells. In conclusion, these findings demonstrated that AEBP1 plays a critical role in PTC progression by regulating BMP4 expression and the AEBP1-BMP4 axis may present novel therapeutic targets for PTC treatment.

    ACLP Activates Cancer-Associated Fibroblasts and Inhibits CD8+ T-Cell Infiltration in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma. (PubMed, Cancers (Basel))
    Boyden chamber assays suggested that ACLP in CAFs may attenuate CD8+ T cell migration. Our results suggest that stromal ACLP contributes to the development of OSCCs, and that ACLP is a potential therapeutic target.

    In summary, these data suggested the important role of AEBP1 in the BCa progression, which could be used as a potential biomarker for prognostic hallmark and a novel therapeutic strategy.
