    Propranolol monotherapy in angiosarcoma - A window-of-opportunity study (PropAngio). (PubMed, Eur J Cancer)
    This window-of-opportunity trial did not show clinical efficacy of propranolol monotherapy. However, two out of 14 patients did show clinical benefit. ADRB1/2 expression did not correlate with clinical response.

    Cardamonin suppressed the migration, invasion, epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) and lung metastasis of colorectal cancer cells by down-regulating ADRB2 expression. (PubMed, Pharm Biol)
    Two cell lines (HT29 and HCT116) were initially treated with CDN at different concentrations (5, 10 and 20 μmol/L) or 50 μmol/L propranolol (positive control) for 24 or 48 h...Additionally, ADRB2 overexpression reversed the inhibitory effect of CDN on metastatic lung nodules (p < 0.05). Discussion and CDN is a potential candidate for the treatment of metastatic CRC in clinical practice.

    Gene expression profiles of beta-adrenergic receptors in canine vascular tumors: a preliminary study. (PubMed, BMC Vet Res)
    In conclusion, canine HSA overexpress the three β-AR subtypes and canine HA β2-AR. High variability was observed in β-AR mRNA levels amongst HSA cases.
