Results showed that HIF-1α overexpression correlated with overall survival (OS), disease/recurrence-free survival (DFS/RFS)...HIF-1α overexpression is linked to poor prognosis and recurrence of HCC patients and seems to be a key hallmark of sorafenib resistance acquisition. Hence, HIF-1α could be a promising biomarker for patient’s outcome and therapeutic target.
