Also happens on acute surgical take. Patient on xth line chemo for recurrent / metastatic cancer - present with malignant small bowel obstruction whilst for full resus. Previous scans have shown peritoneal disease, but no discussion that this may progress and cause blockage. 1/ (@nazwarner)

Very interesting thread; my long-term Crohn’s became small bowel adenocarcinoma a couple of years ago after being on Adulimumab (after a lot of other drugs) for a number of years. Fascinating how this is all intertwined with modern living / diet. (@_ceetop)
