#SABCS21 #bcsm Dr. Pamela Goodwin presents MA.32, a RCT of #metformin vs placebo in early ER/PR positive or negative #breastcancer showing NO improvement in IDFS or OS. Metformin used for treatment of diabetes in people with BC remains acceptable. (People w/ DM were excluded.) (@tmprowell)

Very interesting- LuminalB and HER2 intrinsic subtype of ER/PR positive BC seem to get the most benefit from CDK4/6inh. Analysis of >1000 tumors from Monaleesa (72% or more from primary tumor FYI). Hope it is ok to share this @prat_aleix #bcsm #SABCS20 (@naborala)

@hoperugo @drvineetgovinda @DrAtulSharma10 Ur take on use of cdk4/6 ET combo for a middle aged lady who developed contralateral breast cancer while on therapy for 1st and is ER and PR positive her2 negative and has a fungating c/l mass wid no response2 3rd line chemo&RT (@DrESHAJ9)
