First, #VEGF is highly expressed in #EGFR mutant cell lines (HCC827, H3255) and TKI therapy drops VEGF mRNA while in resistant setting (H1975 with T790M), erlotinib has no impact on high VEGF levels. In EGFRmt NSCLC, VEGF secretion is EGFR dependent. (@StephenVLiu)

2️⃣Post EGFR⛔️ as in this case 👆🏼. You have to recheck these patients. Check tumor again for HER2 expression. At baseline it’s ~<2%; often distal/rectal. Post EGFR⛔️ can go up ~upwards of 15-20%. #TargetedChat #CRCSM #colorectalcancerawarenessmonth (@pashtoonkasi)
