In conclusion overexpression of PIM-2 and NF-κB in patients with AML is associated with resistance to induction therapy and low complete remission rate....Then patients received the standard ‘3 + 7’ induction chemotherapy protocol: doxorubicin (45 mg/m2/day) for 3 days and cytarabine (100 mg/m2 /day as a continuous 24 h intravenous infusion) for 7 days.
